The Gem is a treasure, a unique guesthouse which uses both luxury hotel codes and the warm welcome of a family house. As soon as you have walked through the entrance, you will be able to enjoy the charm of the house. You can rest in the shared living room where you can watch TV into a big couch or play billiard with your friends. If you want more calm, you can go to the reading room with a nice book or play the piano. On sunny days, you can enjoy the patio for a drink in the sun or in the shade. Breakfast is served in the big veranda. This room decorated with taste will offer you calm and serenity with its mosaic floor, its glass roof, its marbled tables and its old fashion clock. Thus, during your stay you will be able to rest in the calm and tranquility that a family house can offer. You will also be surprised by the surrounding silence that makes you forget being in a big town.

The Gem is close to Saint-Leu the old town, and the floating gardens called Les Hortillonages. The Gem is 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the Cathédrale Notre-Dame. The guest house is also near to the Museum of Picardie and the House of Jules Verne, where the famous writer wrote most of his works.
